He is the recipient of the 2017 "Emerging Leaders Award" by the American Marketing Association. Mr. Modlin is also credited with several innovations in cannabis cultivation and manufacturing, and oversees MedMen’s operational aspects. Zeeshan Hyder, Chief Financial Officer

Zeeshan Hyder brings nearly a decade of experience analyzing and evaluating investment opportunities for large institutions. He was formerly an investment banker at Citigroup where he advised on M&A transactions across the mining, healthcare and consumer industries. Mr. Hyder was also an investment analyst at The Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation's $2 billion investment fund. Most recently Mr. Hyder was a vice president at First Beverage Ventures, a private equity firm focused on emerging food and beverage brands.

Chris Ganan, Chief Strategy Officer

Chris Ganan brings vast institutional experience in business operations, private equity, investment banking, real estate and FinTech. Mr. Ganan was instrumental in MedMen's capital formation and guides MedMen's investment strategy, ensuring MedMen continues to grow its footprint in North America’s most strategic cannabis markets. Previously, Mr. Ganan was managing member of Cratus Equity, a private investment firm. He has also worked for Alvarez & Marsal, CohnReznick, and Investments Limited.

Ryan Lissack, Chief Technology Officer

Ryan Lissack oversees the Company’s technology strategy and organization. A seasoned technology executive with over 20 years of experience, he most recently served as the co-founder and CTO at Rival, an Andreessen Horowitz and Upfront Ventures backed start-up. He previously worked for Disney as the CTO of Maker Studios and led mobile engineering at Salesforce.com after it purchased Koral, a SaaS platform he co-founded in 2006.

Mike Lane , Chief Digital Officer

Mike Lane leads the development of digital products that differentiate and extend the MedMen customer experience both online and in-store. He brings more than 20 years of experience in product development and design at major brands like Live Nation, Ticketmaster, FOX Broadcasting, Adobe, and Accenture. Prior to joining MedMen, Mr. Lane was Vice President of Product at global technology innovator Grindr, the world's largest location-based social network connecting the LGBTQ community.

Ada Lee, Executive Vice President

Ada Lee oversees the Office of the CEO, working closely with the CEO to effectively manage MedMen’s top priorities. Ms. Lee supports top leadership on special projects with planning and execution. She is also charged with implementing procedures that improve and standardize MedMen's corporate operations.

David Chiovetti, Executive Vice President of Retail Operations

David Chiovetti is charged with executing MedMen’s retail strategy, overseeing the company’s rapid expansion in California, Nevada, New York and other emerging markets in North America. He brings more than a decade of success leading similar endeavors in the apparel and fashion industry. He held senior positions at class leading brands like Lucky Brand, True Religion and Guess where he oversaw all aspects of corporate retail including real estate, store design, construction and operations.

Morgan Sokol, Executive Vice President of Government Affairs

Morgan Sokol manages MedMen’s outreach and relationships with government entities, trade organizations and communities in support of the enterprise’s mission and long-term viability of the cannabis industry. Prior to joining MedMen, Ms. Sokol was a grants and quality assurance manager for the Los Angeles Family Housing Corporation, and also worked at the Los Angeles Unified School District, the Los Angeles Country Commission on Human Relations, Teach for America and the America Civil Liberties Union.

Dan Edwards, Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs

Dan Edwards oversees MedMen’s legal department and ensures operations adhere strictly to applicable laws and regulations. Mr. Edwards brings extensive experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, commercial real estate, cannabis law and compliance, and he has successfully structured and closed over $500 million in cannabis-related transactions. Prior to joining MedMen, Mr. Edwards worked at San Diego business law firm Potente APLC where he developed and managed the firm's first cannabis division.

Esther Song, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications

Esther Song leads the marketing and communications department at MedMen, overseeing marketing’s retail, digital, product, brand and creative teams. With over 15 years of experience in public relations, she has worked to generate visibility in media and consumer relationships through talent partnerships and influencer content for clients including Tod’s and BPCM. Prior to joining MedMen, Ms. Song was Vice President of Public Relations and Partnerships at Tory Burch for nearly a decade.

Felix Popescu, Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning

Felix Popescu oversees MedMen’s strategic planning including interfacing cross-functionally with key stakeholders across the organization to implement strategic initiatives with Human Resources, Insurance, Corporate Optimization, Licensing, and Manufacturing/Distribution among others. He operates with an acute focus on defining MedMen’s strategy and resource allocation to maximize operating leverage and ROI. Mr. Popescu brings nearly ten years of experience advising and executing on mergers and acquisitions. Formerly, he was an investment banker at Lazard and Jefferies. Mr. Popescu also acquired a deep understanding of healthcare services from his time at ProCure, a leader in the radiation oncology space, and most recently at DaVita, one of the largest kidney care providers in the U.S.

Sara Connolly, Senior Vice President of Field Operations

Sara Connolly is responsible for overall strategic direction of MedMen’s field operations, ensuring that all production facility policies and procedures operate under a high level of quality care and are standardized throughout the organization. Ms.Connolly brings extensive operational expertise from several industries and disciplines to MedMen’s complex operations. She is an expert on data analysis and creative solutions to operational challenges.

Ben Rose, Executive Chairman of the Board

Ben Rose is the chief investment officer for Wicklow Capital, an active early stage investor in a variety of innovative sectors, including blockchain technologies, biotechnology and cannabis. At Wicklow, Ben focuses on working with portfolio investments to identify strategic opportunities for growth while building best in class operations. He has more than 20 years of experience in both financial markets and entrepreneurial finance, having served as a managing director, portfolio manager and trader for a variety of institutional, high performance investment firms.

Jay Brown is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Roc Nation, a leading entertainment company. A seasoned entrepreneur and executive with more than 20 years in the music industry, Brown has been a fixture on Billboard magazine’s annual Power 100 List, having helped propel the careers of several Grammy nominated and award-winning artists throughout his lifetime. Previously, he was senior vice president at Elektra Entertainment Group and executive vice president at Def Jam Recordings.

Mark Hutchison , Director

Mark Hutchison has over 35 years of experience as a tax expert in the entertainment industry, personal financial planning, and mergers and acquisitions. He is a tax partner at Armanino, LLP, the largest independent accounting and business consulting firm based in California. Prior to joining Armanino, Mr. Hutchison was a tax partner at Rothstein Kassfor over 8 years, and prior to that, served in a variety of roles at KPMG, including 18 years as partner. He is a published author and a member of the Motion Picture and Television Tax Institute.

Andy Rayburn, Director

Andy Rayburn is principal and founder of Big Game Capital, a private investment firm that provides financial capital and operational, hands-on leadership. Since 2000, Big Game Capital has invested in equity interests in the 2016 NBA Championship franchise the Cleveland Cavaliers, two minor league baseball teams, and the 10,000 Lakes Music Festival. Previously, Mr. Rayburn was president and owner of Flexalloy Inc., an industrial distribution company, which he sold to start Big Game Capital. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College.

Antonio Villaraigosa, Director

Antonio Villaraigosa served two terms as mayor of Los Angeles from 2005 to 2013, was the Speaker of the California State Assembly from 1998 to 2000, a Los Angeles councilmember from 2003 to 2005 and President of the United States Conference of Mayors in 2012. He was appointed by President Obama to chair the 2012 Democratic Convention. Time magazine called Villaraigosa one of the country’s 25 most influential Latinos. Mr. Villaraigosa brings with him two decades of public service and a long track record of coalition building. He is nationally renowned for his ability to unify disparate groups behind common causes.
