Roz Lipsey brings over 25 years of operational experience, focusing on business start-up, scaling and strategy.
After starting her career in the Foreign Service as an Agricultural Economist for foreign cotton/textile markets, Ms. Lipsey was Director of Business Development for a vertically-integrated cotton company, Volkart/Anderson Clayton, with multiple country holdings in farming finance, ginning, cottonseed oil processing, and commodities trading.
Afterwards, Ms. Lipsey joined a family investment office, Jokake Companies, where she built and scaled companies in the agricultural, construction and building materials industries to successful M&A outcomes. In late 2014, she entered the cannabis space, serving as President of a vertically-integrated cannabis operation in Arizona, scaling its cultivation, manufacturing, wholesale and retail businesses.
Ms. Lipsey is a founder of the Advancing Women in Construction Mentorship Program at Arizona State University and has been a member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO) since 2008.
